Rangemoors have been attending many of the agricultural shows over the past three years promoting the virtues of woodburning and multifuel stoves. Our representative Tim Dennis is the person you will meet at the shows and is willing to give you the information you require to give you peace of mind and help you with regulations of flue products and requirements for installing a stove.
This year we will be attending shows throughout Devon Cornwall & Somerset with our new customized display trailer which is bigger and better than before. Whilst the Rangemoors showroom is surprisingly large and displays more than 30 ranges and 130 stoves at its Winkeigh showroom, the trailer allows Tim to travel the length and breadth of South West England, demonstrating the onboard woodburning models, giving information and answering questions about all related stove and flue matters.
The trailer was delivered in October 2009 and since then Tim has already clocked up a considerable number of miles, as he takes the Rangemoors trailer to a circuit of shows across the South West. Tim’s busy schedule is listed below and he will be pleased to meet you, and help you with all your requirements.
If you wish for us to attend any of your shows or demonstration days do not hesitate to contact Tim on 07966 044320 or email tim@rangemoors.co.uk

Different gift ideas available in our showroom...
Rangemoors at Winkleigh may not be the most obvious place to shop for presents. However, in addition to the many stoves and cookers on display in the showroom are a range of items which make ideal gifts. These include lights, companion sets, carbon monoxide alarms, Aga kitchen ware and other items.
Here are a few of the more unusual items:-
The Ecofan is designed to circulate the heat created by a wood or gas stove throughout a room, rather than most of it rising to the ceiling. These fans do not use batteries or mains electric, but work by convection. They require no installation and cost nothing to run. The Ecofan starts automatically and adjusts it speed to the temperature of the stove. It is a simple, ‘green’ way of optimising the heat from an existing stove.
Euroheat Wood Moisture Meter £37.72 + VAT
To get the very best output when burning wood in a stove or cooker, it needs to be seasoned and dry. This is to ensure that the hottest burning temperature can be achieved and for safety, minimum tar deposits build up in the chimney.
When buying wood in, it might be especially difficult to decide ‘how dry is dry?’. But now a nifty little hand-held metre can tell you. It has two metal probes which when applied to a log, give an instant reading.
Truelights from £14.99
These are a range of four, ultra bright torches (over 18000 mcd), featuring 3, 4, 6 or 8 LED bulbs. They are a made from highly polished aircraft grade aluminium, which make them both durable and robust. They come with a 10 year guarantee.
The Chimney Balloon from £18.99
This is a simple and effective way of blocking chimneys when not in use. It stops draughts and £££s of wasted heat going up the chimney. A room with a blocked chimney needs only about half the heat, so it makes sense to fit one to every chimney not in everyday use. However, using a chimney balloon is completely safe, as if accidentally heated, it shrivels and deflates.
