Chimney fans for gas and solid fuel

EXHAUSTO chimney fans are manufactured in two basic versions which, in principle, solve the same chimney draught problems. The fan types RS for solid fuel and RSHG for gas both have horizontal discharge.

The more powerful fan types RSV for solid fuel and RSVG for gas have a vertical discharge and are designed for use with larger fireplaces. The RSV fan is always used on buildings with a thatched roof.

The fans are constructed of corrosion resistant cast aluminium giving an extended lifetime beyond any other similar product available. Eliminate problems caused by:

downdraught
badly proportioned chimneys
negative pressure in the room due to extractor fans
cross draughts at the fireplace

Description

EXHAUSTO chimney fans RS are used with heating appliances and provide a controllable negative pressure along the full length of the flue and chimney. The fans guarantee optimum chimney draught irrespective of the placing, dimensions or height of the chimney which is beneficial to new or existing installations. The chimney fans RS are normally installed on top of the chimney and have a horizontal discharge.

The fans can be used with appliances burning solid fuel or oil. For solid fuel RS 9-16 are recommended. RS9-16 are supplied with a vane of stainless steel, which is easy to clean.
